Terms and Conditions

These terms cover your use of Feedporter. By using the site or the reader, you agree to them. They're written in plain language on purpose — see Privacy for how your data is actually handled.

The service

Feedporter is an RSS/Atom/JSON Feed reader. Reading needs no account. An optional account exists only to sync your feeds and folders across devices and to send alert emails for keywords you choose to track.

Accounts

If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping access to it — Feedporter uses passwordless sign-in, so anyone with access to the email address on the account can sign in as you. We store the email and name you provide and nothing else, as described inPrivacy.

Feed content isn't ours

Articles you read through Feedporter come from the feeds you subscribe to. That content belongs to its publishers — Feedporter fetches and displays it, but doesn't own it, vouch for its accuracy, or control what a publisher changes or removes.

Acceptable use

Don't use Feedporter to abuse the feed-fetching proxy — for example, to scrape or republish content at scale, or to overload a publisher's server. We may suspend access for use that breaks this or otherwise interferes with the service for other people.

No warranty

Feedporter is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee that feeds will always fetch correctly, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that content parsed from a third-party feed will be complete or accurate.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. Continuing to use Feedporter after an update means you accept the current version.
